Long Distance Movers

Our Long Distance Division handles intrastate, cross-country, and international moves with next-day guaranteed delivery for in-state moves and a dedicated move coordinator.

Office Movers

Movegreen has years of experience handling office, retail, warehouse, lab, school, library, and other commercial moves of all sizes. We are an affiliate mover for many large software companies and the preferred mover for three school districts in our service areas!

Storage Services

Our certified packers can pack your entire house to give you peace of mind and save you countless hours. We offer a full line of high quality packing supplies and materials and provide full and partial packing service. All items are inventoried, and we offer eco-totes available for rent!

Labor Only Moving Help

Need help with the heavy lifting, loading and unloading your rental truck, or packing household goods with great care? Movegreen can pitch in with labor only moving. We can even bring boxes, tape, moving pads, and other supplies with a two-mover, 3-hour minimum.

Every company sets their own local moving radius. In general, local moves are always performed with the same crew and usually priced hourly with a minimum number of hours. Long distance relocations are usually flat rate and may or may not have the same crew.

At Movegreen, we consider any move within a 75-mile radius of your nearby office location to be a local move. There is a 3-hour minimum for local moving with affordable hourly rates. Our long-distance moves have flat rate prices.

Yes, Movegreen will provide a detailed written estimate. Under California law, moving companies must provide customers with a written estimate after performing a visual inspection that includes a “Not to Exceed” price. You must also receive a copy of your moving services agreement and a notice about your rights. Learn more about your rights as a moving customer at the Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS).

There are some items our team is prohibited from moving: 

  • Perishable food
  • Plants
  • Live animals
  • Pressurized tanks and fuel tanks
  • Liquor
  • Firearms and ammunition
  • Toxic and flammable chemicals, including nail polish remover, lighter fluid, and many household cleaners

You are never obligated to tip your moving team, but they will appreciate the acknowledgment of their hard work! If your movers did a great job, a general guideline is 15-20% of the total cost for the team to split or $5 to $10 per mover per hour.
